Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on 7 7 of December 1973 to Mr and Mrs Tim Oyakhilome, as the first son of the family. He finished his primary and secondary studies at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. He graduated with a BSc.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his journey in ministry while at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship currently Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at the time called Youths For Christ.
YFC grew rapidly and was the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld is today a global church with millions of followers and associates all around the world.
Through its 2002 environment for miracles program, BLW was the most popular Christian television ministry in Africa. They stopped airing the program in May of 2004, when the then President of Nigeria – President Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should not air miracles on TV.
